We have received brilliant news from our partner Guiding Eyes for the Blind (USA) reporting that Starling is pregnant and coming to Belgium. Hopefully we will be able to share more info soon. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page in the meantime.

EVERY PURPOSE DESERVES A NAME

At Purpose Dogs, puppies are not born at random.

From their first moment, they carry a clear purpose. They grow up to support people, to be near when life becomes difficult. In their own way, they contribute to the well-being of others. Their future is built step by step, with a focus on who they are and who they will become later. That future does not start with their education, but with their mother.

The first weeks of their lives are all about care, peace and trust. These are weeks when puppies are allowed to grow through closeness, by being carried and by being given the space to just be puppies. What they don't yet have in that first period is a name. And that is not a detail.

A name is more than a call word. It makes a puppy visible beyond the litter and represents recognition, connection and responsibility. Therefore, at Purpose Dogs, a name is never chosen in haste. It requires time, attention and care.

For our puppies, we invite you to help think about names that fit who they are today and the future that awaits them as future assistance dogs.

If your submitted name is chosen, you will have the opportunity to permanently attach that name to a puppy via a donation of €50,00. Thus, a name not only acquires meaning but also a place in the beginning of her story.

- begin with the letter P
- consist of two syllables
- be clearly audible
- do not contain sis sounds
- not be a human name or a common dog name
Final approval is done by the host family of the mother dog

After approval, the name will be officially granted only after a donation of €50.00.
