Welcome!
When an assistance dog association currently purchases a puppy, in many cases it has only a 40 per cent chance of being successfully trained and thus will be suitable to help a human in the future.
To increase this success rate, we are working on a programme where we select the best parent dogs based on character and medical criteria, thus building on future generations of assistance dogs. In this way, we can help many people make their lives more pleasant in the future!

Become a host family?
To give our dogs a good home, we are always looking for host families who are responsible for the daily care, housing and education of our dogs. To this end, we are looking for three different types of host families.

As Purpose Dogs vzw, we actively collaborate with several
Belgian Assistance Dog organisations.
Working alone is not the best way for us to achieve our goals. That is why we actively collaborate with organisation in the
foreign country.
Our mission is to establish a breeding programme in a scientifically sound manner. To this end, we collaborate with a University Partner UGent.
An essential link in the whole process is funding.
