Below, we are happy to share a special testimonial from Myriam about her very first encounter with her dog Djinn. Within Purpose Dogs, we know Djinn as Ilia of Purpose Dogs, daughter of Cuba and Murphy.

When I first saw Djinn

There she arrived: Djinn, with her ears standing curiously forward and a look of ” So, you're going to be my new human?”

Her paws tapped softly on the floor, and as she approached, I saw her nose wiggle for a moment, as if she was already judging me.

We looked at each other, she wagged her tail once, I smiled, got emotional for a moment and so it was decided: we belonged together.

When I grabbed her leash, she gave a small, expectant hop. As if she thought, ” We are going to explore together”.

That first walk together still felt a bit like dancing with 2 left feet ... but Djinn patiently took the lead and somewhere halfway through, as she looked at me with a quick glance I knew: this is the beginning of a beautiful adventure!
