To give our dogs a good home, we are always looking for host families who are responsible for the daily care, housing and education of our dogs. To this end, we are looking for three different types of host families.
Become a host family
Becoming a host family for a dog is a unique experience. The family provides a stable home situation, allowing the dog to grow up to be a social, obedient and self-confident dog that may stay with the host family after the breeding programme.
Types of host families
The all-round host family: permanent housing of the dams, both pregnant and non-pregnant and, after delivery, of the puppies until they go to the associations.
The maternity host family: special host families where pregnant dams are housed during the last part of their gestation until the puppies are placed with the various associations. After that, the mother animal goes back to the housing host family.
The housing host family: the host family housing mother animals only if they are non-pregnant and during the first period of gestation (until the gestation is diagnostic
confirmed).
