Our mission is to optimize the physical and behavioural characteristics of future assistance dogs based on scientific knowledge and with respect for animal welfare.

This is the mission statement of Purpose Dogs VZW. We are an organization that focuses entirely on the selection and breeding of dogs. The puppies of our dogs will be trained by assistance dogs organizations to support people with various disabilities on a daily basis. We select our breeding stock based on the combined results of behavioural assessments, medical evaluations and estimated breeding values. The ultimate aim? Improving the number of dogs that are optimally suitable for the job.
